About the Company

Sjuhäradsbygdens Färgeri is Scandinavia’s most complete dyeing and processing plant. Since our founding in 1935 we have dyed and prepared yarns in fabrics in the most diverse areas.
Today the company is run by brothers Johan and Peter Engelmann, the 4th generation.

Together with our customers, we work with product development to produce a product that meets the customer’s specific requirements for color, quality and function.
We can offer everything from a treatment on the customer’s own materials to delivering a finished product where we are involved in producing raw yarn or raw fabric.

Today we work a lot with technical and functional textiles, with customers in the car, aviation and furniture industries, public environment and functional and protective clothing.
